Warm spaces – Drop In – Every Wednesday, Branston Scout Hut.
We have now opened our doors again for our Warm spaces drop in. Every Wednesday 10.30 to 11.30, Branston Scout Hut, Main Street.
Pop in for a cuppa, good chat, make new friends. Angie, a local resident will greet you with a friendly smile, and makes a lovely cup of tea or coffee.
If you require transport to the venue, a mini bus service is currently available. Please contact the clerk via email or telephone. Everyone is welcome.

Party at the Park

Branston Parish Council is proud to present Party at the Park. Following the huge success of last year’s Family Fun Day the Council has been working hard to organise a bigger event.
Entry to the event is FREE for all
We have secured over 60 independent stall holders offering homemade cakes, jewellery, gifts, crystals, knitted items, handmade sewing, bathroom soaps and wax melts, toys, handmade wooden items, baby cloths, and so much more.
Along with the stall holders we have also secured variety of food vendors:

- Severs Pizza
- Reyahs Dishes
- Chinese Noodles
- Mexican Street Food
- Another one bites the Dutch (Pancakes)
- Taylor Made cakes and bakery
- Nacho Average Nachos

For entertainment we are working with some great acts including, Joanna Dance Academy. Sharecroft Gymnastics Club, George Metcalf & April Francesca.
Branston Parish Council is proud to sponsor the use of inflatables which are being supplied by Abis Inflatables and face painting.
We are proud to have partnered with Belvedere under 15s football team who will be playing a variety of charity football matches to help them raise funds to attend the European Youth Tournament next year.
This year we have been able to secure Charles Harris Fun Fair who will be attending with the famous Sizzler Ride along with others.
It promises to be a fun filled afternoon for all the family.
Aviation Lane Park
Wednesday 19th June has seen the Aviation Lane Playground close to the community. The works have begun to upgrade the playground which is a key commitment of Branston Parish Council this financial year. The formal opening is planned for Friday, 26th July, 2024.
Wicksteed Leisure have been awarded the contract following an intense tender process.
The Council worked closely with the mini student parliament from Henhurst Ridge Primary Academy to research what the children within the community wanted to see.
After awarding the contract we returned to Henhurst Ridge Primary Academy to showcase the designs to the students, we did not disappoint them. Comments from the students, “This is amazing”, “This is not real” “So excited”

80th D Day Anniversary
1944 – 2024
Branston Parish Council is honoured to taking part in the National Beacon Lighting in memory of D Day and the Battle of Normandy.
Location: Clays Lane Sports Pavilion, Branston, DE14 3HU
18:30pm till 22:00pm – D Day Concert
We are thrilled to announce an evening of music to celebrate this land mark event.
Henhurst Ridge Primary and Ryknelds Primary choirs will kick start the concert followed by a swing band and Vintage Harmony Singers.
There will also be, a variety of food vendors onsite including:

– Brickmakers Arms Bar

– Whewell Love These Cakes
– Coffee Bar

We will be lighting the memorial beacon at 21:15pm.
